Me!

I’m Amanda, a New York City lifestyle photographer specializing in family, couples, and vacation photography.

I take pictures of people anywhere, from everywhere, doing anything they love— including, but not limited to just being with the people they love. (I also really dig taking pictures with people who don’t like their pictures taken.) One day these days will all be “Remember when…?” days, and there’s not much better than having them recorded— however long or sleepless or un-photogenic they may feel right now.

I'm married to a super cool, totally laid-back guy named Mike, and we live with our 3 kids in a little apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Hiring me & working together is largely about the experience- it’s so important to me that you’re comfortable and happy when we’re together, starting with communicating and booking your shoot, all the way through the delivery of your gallery a few days after our shoot. I promise to try and make the whole process as easy as I possibly can. This should be fun.

Your job: show up as YOU.

My job: capture YOU (not just your smile).

Do you have someone in your crew who isn't a fan of getting their pictures taken? Yah, me too. And it happens every single time; I have photographed hundreds of families, and I promise, you’re not alone.
Kids? I have 3. Kids are my jam.
Husbands? I have 1, and there isn’t a human who dislikes photos (let alone spending money on photos) more than said husband.
I’ve learned a thing or two about how to achieve trauma and tear-free family photos, and it’s worth it, it’s worth it, it’s worth it! (Please note: I can bring treats for incentive- I'm not above bribing children… or adults.)
